Duke and Duchess ordered to shorten their baby's name

<p>In a world where baby names have become battlegrounds for parental creativity, one Spanish duke is learning the hard way that there's such a thing as too much of a good thing.</p> <p>Meet Fernando Juan Fitz-James Stuart y de Solís, the 17th Duke of Huéscar and heir apparent to the dukedom of Alba. He and his wife, Sofía Palazuelo, recently welcomed their second child into the world, and they didn't hold back when it came to naming her. In fact, they let their imaginations run so wild that they've run into a bit of a royal roadblock.</p> <p>Their darling daughter was bestowed with a grand total of TWENTY-FIVE NAMES.</p> <p>Yes, you read that right. It's like they were trying to set a new record for the world's longest moniker.</p> <p>The poor girl's full name is Sofía Fernanda Dolores Cayetana Teresa Ángela de la Cruz Micaela del Santísimo Sacramento del Perpetuo Socorro de la Santísima Trinidad y de Todos Los Santos.</p> <p>In English, that translates to "Sofía Fernanda Dolores Cayetana Teresa Ángela de la Cruz Micaela of the Blessed Sacrament of Perpetual Help of the Holy Trinity and All Saints." Young Sofia would almost certainly need perpetual help writing that out on school and official documents were it not for the obstacle now preventing the 'normous name from sticking.</p> <p>Now, before you start thinking this was just a case of overly enthusiastic parents throwing every possible name they could think of at their child, hold on a moment. There's a method to this naming madness. Each of those 11 names was carefully chosen to honour important family members, including her mother, grandmother, father and great-uncle. The couple also included a nod to religious devotions, just in case little Sofía needed some divine intervention to carry her name around.</p> <p>However, the Spanish Civil Registry, apparently not a fan of name-related acrobatics, has thrown a royal wrench into the works. According to their rules, a child's name must contain "no more than one compound name and no more than two simple ones".</p> <p>In other words, they're putting a cap on the number of monikers a person can have, and Sofía's name blew right past that limit like a speeding chariot.</p> <p>So, the Duke and Duchess find themselves in a bit of a naming pickle. They need to trim their daughter's name down to size, and that's not a task for the faint of heart. After all, it's not every day that you have to decide which family member's name makes the cut and which one gets the royal snip.</p> <p>In the meantime, young Sofía will no doubt need a papyrus scroll just to keep track of all those names – and if she ever loses her way, she can simply follow the trail of syllables to find her identity again.</p> <p>This entire baby-naming escapade is reminiscent of the late Duchess of Alba, who for a time held the Guinness World Record for "most titled aristocrat", holding more than 50 titles in her lifetime. She passed away in 2014 at the ripe old age of 88, and w<span style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;">hile the young Duke of Huéscar may not be aiming for the world record, he's certainly giving it a good-natured run for its money.</span></p> <p><em>Images: Instagram</em></p>

King Charles Coronation: Harry is in, Meghan is out

<p>Prince Harry has finally confirmed that he will be present at the coronation of his father, King Charles III. </p> <p>It was confirmed that an invite was sent to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on March 4, with an answer still to be seen as of RSVP cut-off on April 3. But now, the prince has revealed that he has accepted, though Meghan will remain at home in California with their two young children. </p> <p>“Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service,” a spokesperson for the palace said. </p> <p>“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”</p> <p>A close friend of the couple has since explained that their son Archie was a major factor in their decision, as he will turn four on May 6 - the day of his grandfather Charles’ coronation. </p> <p>Omid Scobie, author of Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Royal Family, went on to warn fans - and critics - of the family to “expect it to be a fairly quick trip to the UK for Prince Harry, who will only be attending the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey.”</p> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> <p dir="ltr" lang="en">I understand that Archie's fourth birthday (also on May 6) played a factor in the couple's decision. And while Meghan will not be in attendance, she “fully supports” her husband doing so. </p> <p>“The words that Harry and Meghan have said about the importance of their family are lining up with their actions,” a source told the publication. </p> <p>“They care about their family, so Meghan is going to stay and Harry is going to support his dad.”</p> <p>Still, it wasn’t an easy decision for the Sussexes to make as a family, with that same source revealing that it had nothing to do with any alleged “controlling” within the relationship. As they explained, if Meghan was “super controlling” - as many critics choose to label her - then “she would have made sure that Harry didn’t go.</p> <p>“She’s all good, she supports Harry - they both have nothing more to prove.”</p> <p>BBC’s royal correspondent Nicholas Witchel had another point to make on the matter of the royal family’s rift, explaining that “the bad feeling that that has undoubtedly been caused within the royal family towards him, a strong sense of betrayal ... this is a moment perhaps of some reconciliation.”</p> <p>And for those still questioning their intentions, another source had more to add, noting that there “is not one right answer”, something the couple must have been well aware of while weighing up all the different - and significant - elements of accepting or declining their invite.</p> <p>“Prince Harry is going to support his dad,” they confirmed, before going on to add that he would then be coming straight home to spend time with his son for his important day, too. </p> <p>“For all the people who say they want to be half in and half out of the royal family,” they surmised, “this proves just the opposite.”</p> <p><em>Images: Getty</em></p>

Prince Harry alleges physical fight with brother William

<p>Prince Harry has accused his brother, William, of physically assaulting him during an argument over his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex in 2019.</p> <p>UK newspaper The Guardian claim to have seen an advance copy of Prince Harry's highly anticipated memoir, Spare, in which Harry reportedly alleges William knocked him to the floor during the altercation.</p> <p>The alleged incident took place after a conversation between the two brothers, during which William, the heir to the British throne, called Meghan Markle "difficult," "rude" and “abrasive”.</p> <p>"The confrontation escalated until William "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and ... knocked me to the floor," The Guardian reported.</p> <p>The Guardian article focuses on the alleged physical altercation between the brothers but describes the entirety of the book as a "remarkable volume."</p> <p>The article reports Harry's version of events, in which William arrives at Harry and Meghan's then home, Nottingham Cottage on Kensington Palace grounds, to allegedly discuss "'the whole rolling catastrophe' of their relationship and struggles with the press.”</p> <p>Harry alleges that William attacked him after he had offered him water and attempted to cool a heated verbal exchange, according to The Guardian.</p> <p>The article quotes Harry, "He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”</p> <p>The article says Harry states in the book that William urged him to hit back, but he refused to do so. Duchess Kate swaps dresses for army kit

<p dir="ltr">Kate Middleton has shared incredible images of herself in an army uniform in honour of Armed Forces Day in the UK.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Duchess of Cambridge along with her husband Prince William were paying tribute to the men and women who served in the country's armed forces.</p> <p dir="ltr">She shared the behind-the-scenes images to the couple’s Instagram account which were taken back in 2021 giving her a glimpse into the training recruits undertook. </p> <p dir="ltr">“Today on Armed Forces Day, William and I would like to pay tribute to the brave men and women, past and present, serving in all of our armed forces, at sea, on land and in the air, here in the UK and around the world,” the Duchess wrote. </p> <p dir="ltr">“Thank you for all you and your families sacrifice to keep us safe.</p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; First ever official portrait of Will and Kate released

<p dir="ltr">A gorgeous official portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has finally been released. </p> <p dir="ltr">Prince William and Kate Middleton were visiting Cambridge where the portrait by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth was being unveiled at University of Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum. </p> <p dir="ltr">The Duke and Duchess appeared all smiles when the portrait was unveiled with Prince William describing it as “big” and “amazing”.</p> <p dir="ltr">Artist Coreth said it was a “privilege” to be able to paint the photo of the Duke and Duchess which will remain at the museum for three years.</p> <p dir="ltr">"It has been the most extraordinary privilege of my life to be chosen to paint this picture," he said.</p> <p dir="ltr">"I wanted to show Their Royal Highnesses in a manner where they appeared both relaxed and approachable, as well as elegant and dignified.</p> <p dir="ltr">"As it is the first portrait to depict them together, and specifically during their time as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, I wanted the image to evoke a feeling of balance between their public and private lives."</p> <p dir="ltr">In 2023, the portrait will be loaned to the National Portrait Gallery, of which the Duchess is Patron, to help mark the gallery's reopening.</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Images: Jamie Coreth/Getty</em></p>

"Evil white supremacists" target baby Archie

<p dir="ltr">"Evil white supremacists" have targetted Prince Harry and Meghan’s son Archie saying he should be “put down”, a court has heard.</p> <p dir="ltr">Christopher Gibbons, 38, and Tyrone Patten-Walsh, 34, thought it was okay to voice their sickening thoughts on their radio show <em>Black Wolf Radio</em>.</p> <p dir="ltr">Known for encouraging acts of extreme right-wing terrorism, the pair despise mixed race relationships and have used the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as examples of their hate.</p> <p dir="ltr">Kingston Crown Court heard that Gibbons called three-year-old Archie an “abomination that should be put down”.</p> <p dir="ltr">The pair then said Prince Harry needs to be “prosecuted” and ”judicially killed for treason” simply for being married to Meghan.</p> <p dir="ltr">Prosecutor Anne Whyte QC told the court that Gibbons and Patten-Walsh “are dedicated and unapologetic white supremacists” who ”hold extreme right-wing views”.</p> <p dir="ltr">“They thought that if they used the format of a radio show, as good as in plain sight, they could pass off their venture as the legitimate exercise of their freedom of speech,” she said, <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/18814646/harry-and-meghans-archie-targeted-white-supremacist-terror-podcast/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Sun</a> reported.</p> <p dir="ltr">“In fact what they were doing was using language designed to encourage others to commit acts of extreme right-wing terrorism against the sections of society that these defendants hated.”</p> <p dir="ltr">Their talk show has been riddled with their white supremacy and hate toward other people.</p> <p dir="ltr">The court heard about the pair allegedly endorsing the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox in 2016.</p> <p dir="ltr">They also spoke highly of Australian terrorist Brent Tarrant’s rampage which saw 51 Muslims killed at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.</p> <p dir="ltr">The 2017 Manchester Arena suicide bomb attack which saw 22 innocent people killed were called “sluts”, with Patten-Walksh allegedly saying their screams is what “pleases me”.</p> <p dir="ltr">“...because I hate those people. Finally! New pics of Lilibet on her 1st birthday

<p dir="ltr">Harry and Meghan have finally released a photo of the first portrait of their daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor after celebrating her first birthday.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the photo of Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor that was taken at her first birthday party in the UK during Platinum Jubilee celebrations.</p> <p dir="ltr">Lilibet appears to be the splitting image of Harry, taking his red hair and is seen smiling from ear-to-ear in her parent’s garden at their UK residence, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.</p> <p dir="ltr">Photographer Misan Harriman took the “candid, spontaneous photograph” as close family and friends celebrated Lilibet’s first birthday on June 4. </p> <p dir="ltr">A second photo was released from the day showing the Duchess holding baby Lilibet alongside Mr Harriman's wife and their children.</p> <p dir="ltr">Misan shared the heartwarming photos to Twitter along with the caption: It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around.</p> <p dir="ltr">The cake was also baked by Claire Ptak, who also created the couple’s wedding cake back in 2018. </p> <p dir="ltr">The Duke and Duchess requested donations to the World Central Kitchen instead of gifts. They raised $US100,000 ($A139,000).</p> <p dir="ltr">This is not the first time Mr Harriman has captured memorable moments for the Duke and Duchess. </p> <p dir="ltr">He previously photographed Harry and Meghan when they announced they were expecting their second child, now Lilibet, on Valentine’s Day in 2021. </p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Images: Misan Harriman/Twitter</em></p>

Prince Andrew working on amends following sexual abuse allegations

<p dir="ltr">Prince Andrew is reportedly working on making amends following allegations he sexually abused a teenager. </p> <p dir="ltr">The Duke of York, 62, was accused by Virginia Giuffre, 38, of sexually assaulting her on three occasions when she was 17 at Ghislaine Maxwell's home in London, in Epstein's mansion in New York and on Epstein's private island in the US Virgin Islands.</p> <p dir="ltr">The pair reached an out-of-court settlement of £12 million with Prince Andrew now looking to make amends according to the ​​Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby. </p> <p dir="ltr">The Archbishop said society has become “very unforgiving” and that we should take a step back and see that the Duke of York is looking to make improvements. </p> <p dir="ltr">“Forgiveness really does matter. I think we have become a very, very unforgiving society. There's a difference between consequences and forgiveness,” Reverend Justin said in an interview on ITV.</p> <p dir="ltr">“I think for all of us, one of the ways that we celebrate when we come together is in learning to be a more open and forgiving society. </p> <p dir="ltr">“Now with Prince Andrew, I think we all have to step back a bit. He's seeking to make amends and I think that's a very good thing. </p> <p dir="ltr">“But you can't tell people how they're supposed to respond about this. And the issues of the past in the area of abuse are so intensely personal and private for so many people. </p> <p dir="ltr">“It's not surprising. There's very deep feelings, indeed.”</p> <p dir="ltr">The Archbishop also defended the Queen’s decision to walk with Prince Andrew at Prince Philip’s memorial service in March, saying she was “fully entitled” to do so.</p> <p dir="ltr">He however received backlash for his comments, forcing him to backtrack and release a statement clarifying what he meant about consequences and forgiveness.</p> <p dir="ltr">“I was asked a question about forgiveness, and I said that there is a difference between consequences and forgiveness,” the statement read. </p> <p dir="ltr">“Both are essential elements of the Christian understanding of justice, mercy and reconciliation.</p> <p dir="ltr">“I also made the broader point that I hope we can become a more forgiving society. Adorable puppy melts hearts of William and Kate

<p><em>Image: Getty</em></p> <p>Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen smiling, laughing and joking as they visited Lancashire on Thursday. This was their second joint engagement over the course of a few days.</p> <p>Despite their royal status, it was therapy dog Alfie who stole the show and melted their hearts.</p> <p>The apricot cockapoo was funded through hospital charity ELHT&amp;me using a grant from NHS Charities Together, which the Duke and Duchess are Royal Patrons of.</p> <p>The couple visited Clitheroe Community Hospital, where they met with NHS staff and patients to learn about the challenges faced by rural health providers and to understand how NHS Charities Together is supporting the mental health of the frontline workforce.</p> <p>So far, the charity has helped fund a staff well-being room as well as two therapy dogs — six-year-old Jasper and Alfie, who is brand new to the team.</p> <p>They also visited Church on the Street, a charity run by Pastor Mick Fleming. The organisation was set up in 2019 to help the homeless and people living in poverty in Burnley and the surrounding areas. Speaking to a number of volunteers and staff, the couple heard about their motivations for working with Church on the Street.</p> <p>Charity owner Pastor Mick is now in discussions with local authorities, external support agencies and the NHS with the aim of providing further support for people who are struggling with their mental health.</p>

‘Curt not caring' - Will and Kate’s birthday tribute for Harry

TIME names Prince Harry and Meghan two of the 100 most influential people of 2021

<p dir="ltr">Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been named two of the world’s 100 most influential people by<span> </span><a rel="noopener" href="https://time.com/collection/100-most-influential-people-2021/6096108/prince-harry-meghan/" target="_blank">TIME Magazine</a><span> </span>as part of its annual TIME100 list. The couple were profiled by José Andrés, a chef and the founder of World Central Kitchen, for the issue. He also describes the couple as being “blessed by birth and talent” while also being “burned by fame”. He adds, “In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. <p>The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a sweet photo on <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CSROE82tA8w/" target="_blank">Instagram</a> on the weekend of their six-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, cradling a delicate, orange and black butterfly.</p> <p>In the post, her loving parents wrote: “We wanted to share these beautiful Peacock and Red Admiral butterflies as part of Big #ButterflyCount initiative taking place across the UK.”</p> <p>The initiative is run by <a rel="noopener" href="https://bigbutterflycount.butterfly-conservation.org/" target="_blank">Butterfly Conservation</a>, a British charity which is trying to find out more about the health of the environment by asking people to count the number of butterflies they see.</p> <p>On their Instagram post, Prince William and Kate wrote: “@savebutterflies are encouraging us all to count these incredible creatures because not only are they beautiful creatures to be around but they are also extremely important. Butterflies are vital parts of the ecosystem as both pollinators and components of the food chain. Hopefully you can beat last year’s total, @savebutterflies.”</p> <p>The particular butterfly which Charlotte is holding is called a red admiral butterfly and it’s found in Europe, North and South America and Asia. It’s the most popular butterfly in urban areas, according to the <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.fs.fed.us/wildflowers/pollinators/pollinator-of-the-month/red-admiral-butterfly.shtml" target="_blank">US Forest Service</a>.</p> <p>While many royal watchers and fans enjoyed seeing this rare photo of Charlotte with the beautiful butterfly, some noticed ways in which she’s beginning to resemble her royal relatives.</p> <p>“She looks like queen Elizabeth,” observed one person.</p> <p>“The mini edition of Kate.... charlotte is so pretty,” another wrote.</p> <p>“Charlotte looks so beautiful,” added another. “She is the female version of William. Daddy must be very proud of his little girl.”</p> <p>This isn’t the first time Charlotte has been enjoying the beauty of the natural world around her. Last year, Charlotte and her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, asked some animal-related questions to the well-known British environmentalist, David Attenborough, in a very cute video.</p> <p>At the time, Charlotte was five years old and she said: “I like spiders. Do you like spiders too?”</p> <p>Attenborough answered: “I love spiders, I’m so glad you like them! I think they’re wonderful things. Why is it that people are so frightened of them? I think it’s because they’ve actually got eight legs, which is much more than us. And if you’ve got eight legs, you can move in any direction, so you can never be quite sure which way that spider is going to go.”</p> <p>As well, in May of this year we were able to see a new photo of princess Charlotte as her family celebrated her sixth birthday. Prince Charles sparks new family feud rumours

<p dir="ltr">Prince Charles is allegedly refusing to give his younger brother Edward the title of Duke of Edinburgh after Prince Philip’s death.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Earl of Wessex has been waiting for his father’s title for over twenty years, however rumours are swirling that Charles is not so keen on fulfilling his brother’s wishes.</p> <p dir="ltr"><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7842383/charles-edward-1.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/29c686a3981c470dbf6d9740e42df3c4" /></p> <p dir="ltr">The title of the Duke of Edinburgh was passed down to Philip’s eldest son, Charles following his death in April.</p> <p dir="ltr">However, the title has long been expected to be passed down to Edward.</p> <p dir="ltr">In 1999, Buckingham Palace announced to the world that Edward would succeed his father in the dukedom “in due course”.</p> <p dir="ltr">At the time, he had the blessing of the Queen and Prince Philip.</p> <p dir="ltr">After his marriage to Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999, the Queen gifted him a title of his choosing, the earldom of Wessex.</p> <p dir="ltr"><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7842385/charles-edward-3.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/d3cac757b26e4cc39c8e368e7878650b" /></p> <p dir="ltr">However, Charlie may not hand the title to his younger brother, with the <em>Sunday Times</em> reporting he is reassessing his future.</p> <p dir="ltr">A source close to Charles told the newspaper: “The prince is the Duke of Edinburgh as it stands, and it is up to him what happens to the title. It will not go to Edward.”</p> <p dir="ltr">Another revealed: “Edinburgh won’t go to them (the Wessexes) as far as the prince is concerned.”</p> <p dir="ltr">When Charles becomes king, the title of the Duke of Edinburgh will merge with the crown, meaning the new patriarch will be able to grant Edward the title of Duke of Edinburgh.</p> <p dir="ltr"><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7842384/charles-edward-2.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/5e81c807737b470686dc12dba2efd3ec" /></p> <p dir="ltr">In an interview with the BBC last month, Edward made it clear the new title was a decision completely in his older brother’s hands.</p> <p dir="ltr">The royal was asked: “You will be the next Duke of Edinburgh, when the Prince of Wales becomes king, that is quite something to take on?”</p> <p dir="ltr">Edward responded: “It was fine in theory, ages ago when it was sort of a pipe dream of my father’s … and of course it will depend on whether or not the Prince of Wales, when he becomes king, whether he’ll do that, so we’ll wait and see. Who will inherit the Duke of Edinburgh title?

This also means that his wife and Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, is now regarded as the Duchess of Edinburgh.</p> <p dir="ltr">Once he becomes king, the title will be passed down to his youngest brother.</p> <p dir="ltr">This goes against the Letters Patent issued by George VI, which gave Philip the title in 1947 and stipulated the duke’s eldest son would inherit the title.</p> <p dir="ltr">But, when Charles becomes king the title can be re-granted to Edward.</p> <p dir="ltr">The decision to appoint Edward as the eventual Duke of Edinburgh was announced in 1999, following his marriage to Sophie Rhys-Jones and adoption of the title of Earl of Wessex.</p> <p dir="ltr">As a trustee and Chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh Award program, Edward’s succession as the Duke of Edinburgh also recognises his commitment to the program.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Duke of Edinburgh Award program, one of Philip’s educational initiatives, has been undertaken by over eight million children globally and involves pursuing a well-rounded education through acts of service, physical activity, camping trips, and personal hobbies.</p>

Prince William finally hits back: “We are not a racist family”

Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.</span><br /><br /><span>“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”</span><br /><br /><span>Prince Harry told Oprah that he was “part of the system” with the royals.</span><br /><br /><span>However he went on to say that he believes Prince William and his father Prince Charles are “trapped”.</span><br /><br /><span>“My father and my brother, they are trapped. They don’t get to leave,” Harry said.</span><br /><br /><span>“And I have huge compassion for that.</span><br /><br /><span>“My brother can’t leave that system, but I have.”</span></p>

Duchess Kate reveals Prince George’s favourite subject in school

Because if he does, we’re too late.”</p>

Princess Charlotte’s sweet reaction to meeting Sir David Attenborough in new royal photograph

<p>Princess Charlotte has had an adorable reaction to meeting David Attenborough alongside her two siblings and parents.</p> <p>The photocall released by the royal family was taken in early September, and showed the reaction of Prince William and Duchess Catherine to meeting the British naturalist.</p> <p>The family welcomed David into their London home Kensington Palace on September 24 after a day at school for Wills and Kate's two eldest children, Prince George, seven, and Princess Charlotte, five.</p> <p>Two-year-old Prince Louis also had the pleasure of joining in on the special meeting.</p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7838090/cambridge-david-3.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/34fc56c4fe08488ab3b648e60d81f357" /></p> <p>Little Charlotte’s joy is a sight to see as she stood next to her mother holding her face and looking overwhelmed with excitement.</p> <p>Prince George looks poised and regal, while Wills gazes fondly at David with adoration.</p> <p>The meeting came after Prince William attended an outdoor screening for the British Knight's upcoming feature film David Attenborough: A Life on our Planet.</p> <p>According to a report by The Times, Sir David described his impromptu meeting with the royals as "charming".</p> <p>He even bought a rather unique gift for George - a fossil tooth from a giant shark.</p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7838089/cambridge-david-4.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/28e096416c904b0285e536ffbb224c64" /></p> <p>"When I was his age, I remember being given fossils by a grown-up, so I thought I would do the same," David explained.</p> <p>David added that George was very interested and asked many questions.</p> <p>"He was certainly very interested. All three seemed charming."</p> <p>The Duchess of Cambridge donned a denim shirt dress, which featured a belt at the waist and a midi hemline.</p> <p>The rest of the family was also paired up like clockwork in various shades of blue - an ever royal-friendly colour for the regal bunch.</p>

Prince William and Kate reveal Charlotte and Louis' latest obsession

<p><span>Prince William and Duchess Kate are both fiercely protective parents over their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.</span><br /><br /><span>However they do tend to share a few details about their adorable clan, and most recently they have revealed that Princess Charlotte has a new obsession.</span><br /><br /><span>At 5-years-old, it may come as no surprise that little Char has developed a new love for construction equipment.</span><br /><br /><span>While the proud parents spoke to employers helping people find jobs amid the coronavirus pandemic, they met Lloyd Graham, the community engagement manager for construction company Keltbray.</span><br /><br /><span>He told the royal couple the company is hiring workers and offering apprenticeships for demolition work.</span></p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7837941/royal-kids-2.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/623ecfffa9814dfca18e481ede0fc8c9" /><br /><br /><span>"The children — especially Louis — would love to come and watch that, to see the diggers, they love it," Prince William said.</span><br /><br /><span>Kate, then jumped in adding: "Don't forget Charlotte! She'd love it too."</span><br /><br /><span>Prince William previously revealed their two-year-old son is also a big fan of tractors.</span><br /><br /><span>"We've been lambing with the children this week," the 38-year-old admitted after the Wales vs France Six Nations Match in February.</span><br /><br /><span>"Charlotte wasn't sure at first, but George was straight in there. Louis loves the tractors. They love seeing the lambs and feeding the lambs."</span></p>
